Data Retention

We retain your account data for the period required by applicable Indian law. After that period, data is deleted or anonymised. You may request a copy of your stored data at any time through the support email channel.

Cookie Policy

The platform uses session cookies to keep your account logged in and functional cookies to remember your language and currency settings. You can adjust cookie permissions in your browser, though some platform features require session cookies to work correctly.

Account Security

Two-factor authentication is available on every account and strongly encouraged under the terms. If you suspect unauthorised access, you are required under clause 3.4 to notify support immediately so the account can be frozen pending verification.

Fund Handling

Funds held in your account wallet are ring-fenced from operational funds as set out in clause 5. Withdrawals via UPI, Paytm, or PhonePe are processed after identity verification checks are completed on our end.

Requesting Term Changes

You cannot alter the standard terms unilaterally, but if you believe a specific clause should not apply to your account due to a legal exemption in your region, submit a written request via email with supporting documentation for review.

Yes. Completing the account-opening process on 5paisa constitutes your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. You cannot access any platform feature — including deposits via UPI or Paytm — without first accepting them in full.

We publish the updated version on this page and, where practical, notify you by email. Continuing to use your account after the revision date means you accept the new terms. You may close your account if you do not agree.

Eligibility depends on local law and is available where local law permits. You are responsible for confirming that accessing the platform is lawful in your state or territory before opening an account under these terms.

Submit a written request via our support email with your account ID. Under the data-handling clause in these terms, we will provide a copy of your stored data within the period required by applicable Indian law.
